Alexandra Jamison Spanish class Alexa rushed her thoughts or atleast she tried to as she stood outside the room, she was about to enter spanish class when she checked her bag that she had everything that she needed, she was usually one of the students that had everything she needed her friends back in Brisbane loved her organizational skills and that she's always punctional but this was america, she had to keep reminding herself.
After she was happy that she had everything she needed she entered the class slowly, calmly and took a seat by the back, she choose a seat by the back because her spanish wasn't very good and if her teacher was going to pick students to ask questions on the spot she hoped that they'd pick a student by the front.
She sat down and placed her bag strap on the back of her seat and leaned backwards slightly to pick her books out of her bag then leaned forwards and placed them on her desk and got out her pens and placed them besides her books as she waited for the rest of the class to arrive.

Lewis strolled through the corridors of the school, slowly making his way to Spanish class. He hated that class, he didn't see the point in learning the language if he was never going to o to Spain, and he didn't plan on that anytime soon. But he went anyway because if he didn't catch up with some of it he was banned from some games of basketball, they didn't tell him how many so he wasn't taking the risk and going today. Hopefully he wasn't to far behind that he couldn't catch up, but unfortunately Lewis couldn't even remember the last time he was in Spanish class, so that wasn't exactly a good sign. Before he knew it, Lewis was in front of the door, and scanning the corridors and peeking inside the class, Lewis frowned. Was he early? He had tried to go as slow as he could but obviously not slow enough. Lewis swore under his breath, but then sighed and slowly opened the door. It was as if he had never been in the class room before, and Lewis was beginning to think he'd hadn't, because it was also different and new. But Lewis stopped studying the classroom, when he saw the only person in the room right at the very back. Lewis smiled and then strolled over to them, he whistled as he made his way over pretending not to have noticed them, and still looking around the class. But then he flung his back and coat over the back of a chair next to her and sat on his desk. looking at the girl. He was sure he recognized her, but wasn't sure because he couldn't see all of her face because of the way he was sitting. Lewis stop whistling, ran a hand through his hair sorting it out a bit then finally spoke. "Hey," that was all he said, a simple friendly hey. He wanted to see the girls face before he went any further. So Lewis continued to just sit there, on his desk, looking at the girl waiting for a response. WORDS!? 350 STATUS!? done! Alexandra Jamison Spanish class Alexandra had a strange feeling that someone was watching her, she glanced over and saw that it was a guy and that he'd said something to her. It seemed kind of odd to her that someone was watching her and even stranger that someone had actually spoken to her, she was the new kid in the school and whats more she's australian. Although she didn't think that was why no one really spoke to her she assumed it was just beacuse she was new after all back at her old school she was fairly popular she had friends and people who actually knew who she was, things would just take time she told herself.
"Hey" she said in a clear australian accent as she turned her head allowing him to see her better and so that she could see him better too. She just sat there and looked at him for a moment and noticed that he was fairly good looking but thought nothing of it she was hardly going to start anything up he'd said one word to her and didn't want to jinx it, after all he was the first person who actually noticed her.
"sorry I'm Alexandra, Alexa" she said a little nervy but with her accent still, she realized she hadn't actually introduced herself until now, she didn't want to seem rude, not to the first person to actually notice her and actually talk to her.

Lewis smiled as she said hi and looked at him. She was beautiful, he couldn't argue with that but also from that one word he heard she had an accent. She hadn't said enough yet, for Lewis' mind to click and tell him what accent she had exactly, but he knew she wasn't from around here. Instead of that making hi repulse, it just made him more interested. He liked girls that weren't from around here, in fact he liked anyone that wasn't from around here, just because they were new and different. They had new storied to tell that he hadn't already heard a thousand and one times, they offered something new. Lewis sighed, not wanting to say anything just yet, instead he let his eyes wander about the classroom again. Then he quickly looked back at the girl when she told him her name. Alexandra. Or Alexa as she obviously preferred to be called. But then he also caught on her accent, at least he thought he had. Australian. She might be from Australia. Lewis sat forward some more to wards her. "Hey, Alexa I'm Lewis, are you from, Australia?" Lewis asked, trying to sound not interested at all, but unfortunately it was slowly seeping into his voice. The truth was he really was interested that Alexa might be from Australia, he had never met anyone from there but he loved Australian accents. He though they were so cool. And now h might of finally met someone from there. Lewis sighed quite happily, maybe coming to class so early wasn't so bad after all. WORDS!? 267 STATUS!? done! Alexandra Jamison Spanish class Alexa was still looking at Lewis when something suprised her, was he smiling at her, just being friendly she thought to herself as she was about to get excited, the first guy that actually noticed her and even spoke to her seemed to be smiling at her, before she'd started school in Miami she wouldn't have been suprised it's not like she had no friends back home but here things seemed to be back to front and upside down. Maybe she just wasn't being outgoing enough or something. She didn't really know.
"Yeah, Actually I am, I guess you can tell from my accent? I'm from Brisbane" she told him after he'd guessed right about her being from Australia. It wasn't that hard though she wasn't accustomed to America all that well just yet anyway. Although she had stopped being mad at her parents a little while ago for making her come all the way to America she was still getting used to some things and her accent obviously stood out.
She had a look around the classroom and didn't really see that many people, she just thought that either no- one was taking the spanish class, most people were skipping this class or that everyone else taking this class was planning on turning up late, she looked back at Lewis and tried to act cool around him, she quickly leaned in to him and whispered "Does anyone actually take this class"

Lewis raised his eyebrows slightly as Alexa confirmed she was from Australia, Brisbane as she said. He nodded to her saying could he tell by her accent, it was true, anyone could tell she wasn't from around here by her accent. Not everyone, would want to talk to her as well because she wasn't from around here. Luckily, Lewis wasn't everyone, and the fact that she was from Australia only made him more interested.
Lewis was actually looking around the classroom as Alexa asked if anyone did actually take the class. Well, he didn't know. He usually fell asleep or zoned out when he was in the class, that was if he ever came. By the time he came back o reality everyone was gone and he was late for his next class, the teacher had long ago stopped trying to wake him up when she saw no point in it when he fell asleep again five minutes later. So, the truth was he never had actually seen anyone in the class, but he was sure people took it, he faintly recalled seeing people as he walked in the door and went straight to the back to fall asleep, on other days. He grinned and shrugged at Alex, then he lent forward, resting his elbows on his knees and quietly said, although he had no idea why he was being quiet. "To be honest, I don't actually know, I usually fall asleep here at the back, nd wake up long after the bell for next class has gone," he rolled his eyes then chuckled and grinned at her. Leaning back slightly but still staying with his elbows on his knees. WORDS!? 279 STATUS!? done, but sorry it's a bit rubbish. CREDIT!? credit to carrie @ caution

Alexandra Jamison Spanish class Alexa almost laughed as she heard Lewis saw he usually fell asleep dusring class, although she wasn't really known by many people or popular, she knew some of the other people in her class would skip, why do they even need to learn spanish right!? Well Spanish was better than Japanese what she was learning back in Australia.
Alexa thought about it for a minute before speaking but not really as she said "You're on the basketball team no" It was true pretty much everyone knew Lewis was a jock ever some who was so out of the know like Alexandra. Alexandra wasn't really that into sports so she couldn't say she'd seen him play but who knows if she went to one of their games she might actually like it.
