Another night, another party. Being in one of the elite groups had it advantages, not that such things really mattered to Holden. The elite rockers seemed to be the outcasts out of all of the elite groups, but Holden liked it that way. There were people in the other elite groups who could just act obnoxiously cocky, and those were the people that really bothered her. She was lucky to have made the friends she did; Holden wouldn’t have been able to survive in any other group. Of course, there were always the downsides to it too. She was invited to more parties, and her parents didn’t like her frequently going to them. Tonight was one of the nights she had to climb out of her second story bedroom window, carefully moving herself down the tree she always used. Holden ran to the car waiting for her, shooing the person sitting in the passengers seat to the open space in the back of the car. She leaned over to kiss the driver on the cheek, in her usually friendly, platonic way. ”Thanks for picking me up.” Holden was a bit breathless from scaling the tree, but she would be okay in a few minutes. She then turned around in her seat, talking to her friends as the car gained speed.
The party was already I full swing by the time they reached the house, and everyone climbed out. They had packed the car tightly, people having shared seat belts. Holden knew that when she got inside she would feel a bit out of place, like she always did. Most of the girls at the party would be wearing mini skirts and other exposing forms of clothing. Holden had dressed like she usually would, with jeans and one of Aerosmith rocker tees that hung off her shoulder and exposed her mid-drift a little. A lot of the girls she had come with were dressed like her anyways, so she would get used to it soon. The music was loud, and there probably should have been a music complaint by now. But the house was huge and rested on a huge piece of land, so maybe the other houses were too far away to here the noise. Holden followed the driver into a room where people were playing beer pong. Holden sat on the driver’s lap, letting him re-explain the game to her. He was one of her closest friends, mostly due to the fact that he was completely fluent in French. Her relationships with boys tended to be platonic, in fact, they seemed to always be platonic aside from a few crushes. The driver had been sitting there with and unlit cigarette hanging from his mouth for a while, watching the game of beer pong continue. ”I’ll be back soon.” Holden was laughing a little as she stood and took the cigarette from his mouth and put it between her lips. She could hear him saying to be careful as she began to walk away, and she just waved a hand at him like it was nothing. She ended up arriving outside, getting ready to light the cigarette. Except that she didn’t have a lighter. That was bothersome. Holden sighed, leaning against the wall as she took the cigarette from her lips.

Zachary . M . Roberts "Let's have some Fun" with Holden. Zach stood outside on the porch right outside his house, he knew he was pretty lucky that his dad was not around his mom was more lenient with him and let him do his own and it meant he didn't have to sneak around he loved that his mom had a don't tell don't know policy with his partying ways, if she didn't know she didn't say anything to his dad which meant Zach could do pretty much anything he wanted and he needed some down time with his dad on his back constantly about getting back into basketball but right now all he was focused on was the party he was heading off to.
He stood there for a second before he heard his cell phone ring, he placed his hand into his pocket got it out and answered it "Hey" he said, listening it was one of his friends "Yeah man I'm on my way" his friend was wondering if he was on his way as the party was getting into full swing now. "Alright chill, I'm on my way now" he finally said before hanging up and putting his cell phone back into his pocket he held his car keys in his other hand and headed over to his car to make his way to the party.
As he made it to the party, he entered the house he didn't actually know who was throwing th party but of course he was invited, one of the good things about being a part of the the 'elite jocks' got him invited to pretty much all of the parties, even those that weren't that good or worth going to he didn't really mind this was going to be a good party he thought to himself as he walked through the house and was greeted by a couple of his friends. He made his way to the kitchen to grab a beer.
As he entered the kitchen he saw a couple guys drinking some kind of drink out of red plastic cups he assumed it was the homemade punch he wasn't naive about parties and knew to never trust the homemade stuff, as you never know what's in there unless you want to be on in bed for the next couple of days being sick. He glanced into another room and saw a couple of girls drinking too, he just smiled and winked at them and got himself the beer he wanted.
He wanted a smoke so he opened the beer and then made his way out to the front of the house, as he made it through he bumped into some girl "Hey - oh sorry!" he apologized sincerely and smiled at her as he continued to walk out to the front. as he did he reached into his pocket and reached out for a pack of cigarettes and a lighter as he put the cigarette to his lips and was about to light it when he looked around he saw a girl leaning against the wall with a cigarette he saw her take the cigarette from her lips he took the cigarette from his lips and walked over to her and in a charming friendly voice he said "Do you need a light?" he put his cigarette back into his mouth and lit it.

Holden stood and watched as a truck pulled up, a bunch of guys sitting in the back watching carefully over the keg they had brought. As they were beginning to pull the keg out of the truck bed, one of the boys got upset with one of the others, telling him to be more careful with the keg. Really? Was a keg of beer that important? Were they incapable of having fun without it? Parties back in France had been so much different. The ones Holden usually went to were ones in clubs, or hosted by the ridiculously rich kids that were her friends. There was usually a dj or an open bar, none of this cd player and beer in a cup crap. But then again, the more heavy drugs also seemed to be used at those parties. If you opened the wrong door you would walk in on someone snorting coke or swallowing mysterious looking pills. But that’s how many places were. That’s how she even first learnt to never take a drink that offered to you, and to pour it yourself. People liked to slip drugs into them without you knowing so they could take advantage of you. That was that was common at the parties she had used to attend. So maybe her parents choice to move here was for the better, since the parties didn’t seem to be as intense. Or at least that’s what it seemed like.
Holden looked over the boy who had approached her. She knew his name, or at least she thought she did. He was Zachary Roberts, a member of the elite jocks and played basketball. She waited for him to finish lighting his cigarette, slightly surprised that he even smoked. She then took a hold of his hand that held the lighter and leaned in, putting the tip of her cigarette in the flame to light it. ”Thanks.”
Holden waited until she had blown out the smoke to smile at him. Then her friend from earlier came outside, looking for her. He told her how he was p for beer pong, and if she wanted to come play she could. ”I’ll come in a bit, just let me finish smoking.” Holden already knew what the look he was giving her meant, and she answered him before he could say anything. ”Don’t worry. I have Zach to keep me company.” She waited until he rounded the corner before she turned back to Zach. ”Aren’t you on the basketball team? Don’t you know that smoking is bad for your health?” OOC: sorry for the shortness [/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote]

Zachary . M . Roberts "Let's have some Fun" with Holden. Zach stood there for a moment smoking with Holden and just watching her, he watched her friend come along and they all knew what he was doing, he smiled slightly and continued smoking, pretending to mind his own business as he heard her tell him she'd be in after she's done with smoking. He smirked a little to himself thinking that he seemed like a pretty decent friend, then again if he saw a female friend of his in the same position he'd probably do the same.
When he heard her say that he was there to keep her company he smiled at both of them and repled with "Yeah man don't worry she's safe with me" he sounded honest and sincere, he almost impressed himself with how convincing he sounded. He watched him leave and was hardly suprised when he heard her say he was on the team he smiled almost laughed even. "Didn't you hear I'm off on a wrist injury - may as wel go down with a bang" he joked with her as he continued to smoke while they talked.
"So I've seen you around, we keep getting invited to the same parties" he said to her with a little smile. he had finally finished his cigarette and he threw it to the ground.

Holden knew that of the guy friends she had, they tended to be a bit protective of her. But when you’re friends with a girl like Holden, you can’t help but what trouble she could get into when it came to being around guys. That’s why her friend left with such a distasteful look on his face. He probably didn’t trust Zach, and he knew how Holden acted. Holden was naturally a very touchy-feely person, who when it came to things doing with boys, was pretty much oblivious. There were many people who thought she was flirting when really she was just acting the same as always. That always seemed to get her into trouble, and a friend would either have to save her, or she would have to try and escape on her own. But she had mastered that by now, from so many prior experiences. Not that she really had to worry. It was doubtful that anything would happen between her and Zach. He seemed to be the type of guy who would go for the cheerleader type, like that Alexia girl.
Once her friend had finally left, Holden let her head rest against the side of the house, letting out a breath of smoke when she sighed. Smoking was terribly relaxing for her, but not very healthy. For now she didn’t care though. It felt good to go outside and have a smoke after being stuck in a house that was packed with people. Holden smiled a bi in between the drags she took from the cigarette. color=turquoise]”Well that’s too bad. I wont get to see you play.”
She suddenly wondered how thick her accent had come off. Holden had only moved from Paris a year ago, so she hadn’t been in America long enough to have lost it. Not that she really needed the accent for people to know that she was French, it already seemed to be a well known fact about school. ”Well we wouldn’t really be elite if we weren’t, right?” A smirk spread lightly across her lips as she said this, dropping her cigarette on the ground and stepping on it. ” But I must be pretty noticeable since I don’t really dress like many of the other girls in this school.” Holden just shrugged at her own comment, rubbing her bare arms to try and get rid of the goose bumps. ”Well, I said I would go inside once I was done.” She paused shortly, rubbing her arms again. ”Unless you want me to stay? If anything, that was her asking him to ask her to stay. [/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote]

Zachary . M . Roberts "Let's have some Fun" with Holden. Zach stood there for a moment just looking at Holden as he watched her talk and her body movements and he thought about how everything about her seemed unique it's true he knew from the first word he heard her speak that she was either french or spent a certain amount of time over there which was new to him he was so used to be being surrounded by cheerleaders and preppy type girls and Holden seemed different which intrigued him.
"Being different isn't about not being like others it's about being beautiful in your own way" he paused for a second and realized it may have sounded like a gay man comment and added "No ones the same and who wants to be like everyone else?" he realized that what he thought wasn't coming across very well and sighed for a second and watched her.
'unless you want me to stay' he thought about what she'd said to him for a second. It sounded like an invitation he thought to himself "Of course I'd love to be lucky enough " he said to her with a cheeky smile. "How about you wait here I'll grab you a beer? " he suggested, more so for himself as he'd left his beer inside and wanted to grab another.

Holden could hear the song changing inside, and she wondered what her friends were doing. If it was a song they would probably be dancing or something like that. Her and her friends liked to have people’s attention on them, but it seemed like most of the cliques at the school were like that. And then there was that Gossip Girl running around, poking into everyone’s business and then putting it on the Internet. It made you have to watch what you do, if you didn’t want your private life broadcasted to everyone in the school. Holden had barely even been on there, probably because most of the things she did were not very exciting or could even be considered gossip. But that was how Holden liked it; she didn’t want some stranger telling everyone her secrets or what she has done. That Gossip Girl site was just more of a place to backstab people. You are allowed to send things in and completely trash people on it. And as you can see, it wasn’t exactly one of Holden’s favorite sites.
Holden waited for him to finish, laughing a little as she spoke. ” That got confusing. But thanks? I guess?” Holden wasn’t that surprised when he said that he would love to say, and it sounded as if he was trying to charm her. That didn’t bother her too much; it was different from what she was used to. ”Sure.” This was a reply to his last comment, about getting her a beer. What was that about?! Holden rarely drank, actually she didn’t drink. The last bear she had drunken was her freshman year of high school. Her tolerance for the alcohol wouldn’t be very much, and she would probably be tipsy after drinking just half of the bottle. That put her in a terribly bad situation. Who knows what she would do, if anything she would make a move on him. She would have to worn him before hand so nothing ended up happening.

Zachary . M . Roberts "Let's have some Fun" with Holden. Zach just gave Holden a charming smile and wink as he heard her give him the okay for him to go inside and get them a beer, although he probably would have gone to get himself one even if Holden didn't want a drink, it was all kind of different for Zach Holden seemed like a nice girl not like the girls he usually hung out with, for the most part their slighty damnaged in some way or just as stubborn and selfish as he is.
He moved closer to holden and placed a hand on her hip and leaned in to whispered to her he said "I'll be right back" he told her before pulling away and walking away from her and heading inside the house. He wondered if her friends would came back out but not really worried about her dissapearing on him, it was almost never that it happened to him but thought it would be embarrasing if it had happened.
He fairly quickly made his way into the kitchen and watched a couple making out and leaning over the counter by the punch, 'wow that is descusting' he thought to himself, not that the couple making out was gross or anything just the way the guy who he didn't recognise was almost stripping the poor girl right there almost on top of the counter not a sight he really wanted to see, but knew that kind of thing happened. "Excuse me" he said fairly loudly as he pushed past the couple, stopping them in their making out session. Not to be rude but he couldn't get to the fridge with them in the way.
He saw the annoyed look on the guys face and noticed that he seemed really fit and like he worked out a lot "Sorry man I'm just gonna-" he told the guy cutting out mid way through as he reached into the refridgerator and grabbed two beers. He turned back around to see the guy with the same annoyed expression on his face and Zach just assumed that was his look so opened the beers and left the house and walked back over to Holden.

When Zach smiled and winked at her, she had been fine, ad barely noticed it. This was how she thought most guys acted, being so naive to so many things. But when he put his hand on her hip and leaned in to whisper in her ear, she couldn't help but begin to blush. Hopefully he wouldn't be able to notice it, or he maybe he would already be around the corner by the time it became so obvious. She didn't understand why she was blushing. She was used to boys touching, but it had always felt so much more platonic than this. Maybe it was because she didn't know Zach that well, so they didn't have that bridge of friendship. She rubbed her cheek as he walked away, like it was such an odd thing to blush.
Once he was out of her sight, she sat down on the ground, leaning her back against the wall. The blushing was still bothering, even though the redness in her cheeks had already faded away. Maybe there was something about him that made her do things that she usually didn't do. It seemed to be just too much of a mystery. It was making her feel like such a thirteen year old when she was worrying about these things. Not that they were things she worried about very often. Holden just sighed, leaning her head back, closing her eyes as she tried to relax a little. She could feel her phone vibrating in her pocket, and the last thing she wanted to do was pick it up. But she knew she had to. Who ever it was would probably get offended if she didn't.
"Hello? Why are you calling me? Don't tell mom where I am." It was her younger twin brothers, calling her from the phone in her room. They were threatening to tell her mother where she was, and that would go over like a ton of bricks. If her parents discovered she was at a party, they would probably come and pick her up. And everyone knows how embarrassing that cane be. "Fine. Okay. Just keep it quiet from mom." They were refusing to speak in english to her, talking quickly in French. Not that it was difficult for her to understand, she was fluent in the language, they just did it to bother her. She could already see Zach heading back towards her, beer bottles in hand. She hung up quickly, so her brothers wouldn't be able to hear anything. Holden looked up as he neared, smiling a bit.

Zachary . M . Roberts "Let's have some Fun" with Holden. Zach made his way out of the house with two beers in his hands and watched as he saw a few people outside mostly stoner's and rockers he wasn't surprised really but he didn't actually see any of his close friends which didn't really bother him he was happy hanging out with Holden right now.
As he slowly walked over to-wards Holden he saw a glimpse of her and it looked like she was on her cell phone and he was feeling considerate and didn't want to interrupt anything to took a step backwards and had another little look around as he took a sip from his beer bottle, it wasn't the best beer but beer was beer. She didn't really see much interesting going on but was sure that the party wouldn't be dull later on, the parties he went to never were.
He glanced over at Holden and it looked like she was expecting him, he only assumed that right before he had stepped backwards she'd seen him and ended her call or maybe she was just done talking with whoever she was talking to, he shot her a smile and walked over to her.
"Hey you" he said smiling in the process as he handed her the other beer he'd gotten for her from the kitchen. He took another sip from his bottle before saying "Sorry I didn't want to interrupt" he was just being polite not he wasn't usually he just thought that if he'd been on an important call he wouldn't want to be interrupted as he suspected she didn't.
He took another sip from his beer almost enjoying the taste more, the more he drank the better it got, you're insane man, you sound like an alcoholic' he thought to himself realizing he was just being silly but took another sip before saying to Holden "So you have been taken away yet?" he asked in a playful tone, wondering if her friends would come and steal her away. Not that it would bother him that much but he was enjoying hanging out with her.
