Lewis felt Gabrielle touched his cheek and it warmed his whole body up, none of this made any sense to him right now but at least he had Gabrielle to help him through it right now. As she said sorry, he shook his head slightly and smiled weakly at her. He felt lost. But not the lost in a shopping department can't find your mummy lost, more of a you no longer know who you actually are lost. Lewis swallowed rather quite loudly, and rubbed his temples, his head was hurting with all this complicated information still processing in his mind. He was going to be thinking about this for days, at some point he might confront Zach but he doubted it.
Lewis slowly stood up as Gab spoke again. Ros? Who was he? The name really rung a bell in Lewis' mind, but now wasn't the time to keep on thinking now as the time to get a drink with Gab and try and forget about this until he was ready. He rubbed her arm, in a friendly reassuring way as she went on about Roscoe finding out about the kiss. Then he walked with her to get a drink, he didn't think he had the money, but it didn't matter a walk about was letting his mind free more. As if he was leaving all those confusing thoughts behind. So he suddenly felt a lot better as they went for a drink. But he still couldn't say anything. His throat had dried up completely and it hurt to swallow. With a bit of luck Gabrielle might spare him a small drink from whatever she was getting. Lewis swallowed again, suddenly feeling an urge to jump in the sea and swim. It would probably help clear his thoughts but he would do that later, not right now. Miss Gabrielle Vasquez Gabrielle felt releaved when she walked with Lewis over to the stand to get a drink not only did he not question her about her motives but he seemed to just be taking the information in and not saying anything not giving his opinion on it and volentarily going with her to get a drink and she was pleased as she was really thirsty now. She was thankful they weren't that far from the stand now, her feet grew sore fairly quickly so she hated walking long distances.
"Hey there can I get a - two soda's please" she said to the guy standing behind the stand and just looked at Lewis and smiled but for only a second, well it only seemed like a second as her attention was distracted by the guy behind the stand he said 'dollar fifty please' she turned to face the guy behind the stand again and said "sure, thank you" as she gave the guy the exact money and took the soda's and handed one to Lewis as she turned her back to the guy at the stand and faced Lewis again.
"here" she said showing a half smile as she opened her soda and drank some out of it, it was cool and refreshing. "Thanks, for not saying anything" she finally said after a pause, she was greatful that he hadn't said anything bad about her or about what she had done to Zach and her own sister. she drank some more of her soda and then suggested "you wanna head back?"

At the drink stand, Lewis faintly heard Gabrielle ask for two sodas, he was really grateful for her getting him a drink but he was still unable to say anything. When she passed him the can, he tried to force out a thank-you but it was very mumbled and hardly audible. He opened the can and took a long drink, the refreshing liquid clearing his throat. When he was finished he let out a loud breath, his throat no longer dry. Lewis shrugged as she thanked him for not saying anything, what could he of said anyway? That was if he had been able to speak at all. Lewis took another drink, just to make sure his throat was good enough to talk then said. "I couldn't of said anything even if I wanted to, besides there is nothing to say." Lewis sighed, he hated feeling so depressed. It sucked when he could be happy and just chilling and talking to Gab, but no, today he had to get depressed, and at the beach of all places. Lewis rubbed his head then swapped the can from hand to hand, staring at it, just to give him self something to do.
He looked at her as she asked if the wanted to head back and he smiled. What was the point in being depressed? There wasn't on was the answer. Basically, Lewis would shove all of these troubles out of his mind, to think about later when he was on his own, and instead would focus on the here and now with Gabrielle. He nodded. "Yeah, if you want to, I don't mind," Lewis shrugged. But he did secretly really want to go and have a swim, but he didn't say that, he would let Gab decide. Because to be honest, Lewis didn't really know what he wanted right now.

Miss Gabrielle Vasquez Gabrielle drank some more of her soda and swallowed as she heard Lewis say he didn't mind if they went back but truthfully her feet were starting to get a little sore, she gave Lewis a smile and said "Yeah come on" as she shooved her arm underneath his and wrapped her arm around his and started to walk back over to the beach.
With her soda in her other hand her glanced up at Lewis who seemed distracted or maybe upset about anything, she decided that she should say something to him, because she thought that maybe she'd made the tone between them heavier by telling him about her and zach and roscoe all in one go, it may have a little too much.
"this it's good, we should hang out more often" she finally said whilst still looking up at him and showing her smile too. She later added "You know you can talk to me right? you can trust me" she really wanted him to know that she was there if he was upset or worried about something and didn't really have anyone to worry about, because as far as Gabrielle was concerned her reputation had been well and truly trashed and she didn't really talk about what was going on with her which all blew up in her face.

Lewis smiled and nodded as they began heading back to the towels. He was glad as well when Gabrielle stuck her arm underneath his, even though he was trying to be as happy as possible, it was all still gnawing away at the back of his mind. So he was glad when she done that because he was in fear of falling over at any moment so she helped support him kind of.
When Gab started speaking again, Lewis rubbed his eyes. As if he could rub all the sadness that was in them and he liked to think he had a little bit. But he didn't really know, and anyway, they were filled with so much sadness that rubbing away a little barely made a difference at all. He grinned at Gab, when she finished saying about they having to hang out more. He thought that would be a good idea, he really needed to have someone around right now just to talk to and keep him sane and he felt, because it was Gab who had told him in the first place, she would be the best person to talk to. He sighed and rubbed hi eyes once more. "Yeah, we should, definitely," Lewis tried to sound as enthusiastic and happy as he could, but could tell he was failing miserably. He felt like he was dragging an extremely heavy load behind him. He nodded silently as Gabrielle said about him being able to tell her anything. He knew that, but he didn't trust him self to say anything at the moment, then it all came out. "I know Gab, and I'm sorry I'm being such a downer on this nice day at the beach, but it's just so much to take in I don't think I can handle it, I mean seriously I can't handle a few words of Spanish or a couple of math equations, let alone this!" Lewis rubbed the sides of heads, he hoped he hadn't sounded as if he was angry, because he wasn't. Well, only at him self. How could he have been so slow and missed all this? That upset him as well, to know he was this much behind on everything. "I'm really sorry Gab, it's you gotta understand this is me, Lewis, you know how.....slow I can be, so this is really a little bit to much for me all at once, I'll get over it soon enough, and be regular old me again, not sure if you'll want that though," he chuckled slightly at the last bit. Try to make everything all good again, and be same old Lewis again, the guy who likes a laugh and a goof flirt, and hates, well, this kinda thing. Lewis sighed once more and sat down on the towel Gabrielle had given him earlier, because they were back now.

Miss Gabrielle Vasquez Gabrielle was listening carefully as she walked with Lewis back to the beach and wasn't really paying attention to much else as he spoke, and when he told her he was just overwhelmed by everything, she just didn't really know what to say, she took a deep breath to let her brain process it all. The truth is she knew she had screwed with Zach who was once her friend, her sister who she despite their difference does love and Roscoe who she does care about but she knew he would be so hurt when he found out and now she felt as though she was throwing it all onto Lewis. Which she didn't want to because after all she does care about Lewis and really respects him and doesn't want him to be hurt or confused about it.
It was one of the reasons she didn't really want to tell him straight up, she didn't want him to think bad of her, but they're friends first off so she thought it would go down okay with him and she would just take the critisism but was taken aback by the lack of it. Infact the little he knew was almost suprising to her but she saw it as one of his best strengths she always did. Finally getting her ducks in a row, so to speak. She stopped and forced Lewis to stop and she told him "Hey, no, you have no reason to be sorry, I didn't mean to put this on you, lets just go back to the beach hang out like we used to" sounding more upbeat towards the end.
It was true she really did miss the days when she'd just hang out with her friends and have fun, without having to think about anything like school, exams, colleges, gossip girl, well gossip girl has always been there just gabrielle somehow managed to stay out of trouble, but she decided to start a leaf, forget everything and just try and have fun, she was only eighteen anyway. "Ohhh my feet are so sore" she complained as she tugged his arm trying to get him to carry on walking, even though they were almost there it wasn't close enough, to her.
